You want a partnership that makes you exhale in your body because you feel so safe and grateful to share your life with him. The reason you don’t have that yet isn’t that you haven’t “healed enough” or “affirmed correctly”. You're not missing some dubious dating strategy.

Because it’s not what you’re doing.

You wouldn't even believe it if he did commit... because you live from the self concept of the woman who's always single. That's why you're overthinking what to do, think or feel — instead of living from the identity of the woman who of course gets chosen in love.

If that's not in place the relationship tends to stay away. And even if you got it tomorrow... it wouldn't change how you feel, or you'd live in constant fear of it falling apart.

That’s why it’s important to understand the self concept you’re living from when it comes to your love life.

This quiz will give you that.

Here’s what it looks like when you change your self concept from one of the ‘unchosen’ identity archetypes to
the woman who expects to be chosen:

"I feel confident, beautiful, at peace, and these aren't traits I carry like a handful of affirmations in a bag for when I feel bad and need some convincing. No. This is who I am every day, this is what you feel when you hang out with me, this is what my partner feels in my presence. (...) This person I met isn't someone I decided to give a shot otherwise I'd ‘be single’ forever. No. This is someone who is aligned with me. This is someone who treats me with a tenderness I had NEVER experienced before in my ~10 year dating life."

For most of my life, I felt unchosen — in life, but especially in love. I wasn't unhappy — I had everything you could ask for. But my love life told a different story.

I was so familiar with the reality of being 'the one who's always single'.

I wanted love and assumed I'd meet someone. But the years went by with crushes and no commitment:

I experienced the pattern of the frustrating 3-month situationship that would end in ghosting or rejection. I settled for physical intimacy when I actually wanted more… because I no longer believed more was possible.

I was the woman who would open his WhatsApp chat for the fifth time in a row because he hadn't replied for a few hours and I was spiralling.

I wasn't insecure. If you saw me back then, you would have perceived me as confident — and that's why I just couldn't figure out why I kept dating the same man with a different face.

I tried everything to find the answer. I spent hours in therapy offices. I repeated the same affirmation hundreds of times per day until I felt resentful because I had exhausted myself and still felt unchosen.

No amount of affirmations changed my beliefs, 'choosing better men' didn't change the pattern, and loving myself harder didn't make me feel chosen by anyone but myself.

One day, I'd had enough. Instead of reaching for another technique or modality, I started looking at what was actually happening underneath — in my body, in my subconscious, in the parts of me that had learned to expect rejection and brace for it before it even arrived. I retrained my nervous system to feel safety in relationships, instead of preparing for — and therefore re-creating — abandonment.

It was painful and uncomfortable. But it actually shifted something.

Slowly but surely, I became the woman for whom being chosen felt natural — instead of something I was waiting for, trying to believe, or terrified of losing.

Since then, I have trained extensively in trauma resolution, somatics, nervous system rewiring, spiritual philosophies, and subconscious reprogramming.

For over six years I've now been supporting women with the Recreate Your Self® method in my signature coaching programme — women who came in exhausted from trying to 'manifest' love, and left as the version of themselves who simply expected to be claimed.
